Sold!

Last night I went to Seventh Gallery in Fitzroy for the sale. Good times had by all, especially Gráinne. Big thanks to her for coming with me and supporting me. Both my artworks got sold and I picked up a lovely little photograph in return.

Seventh Super Sell Out Sale

On Monday the 14th of December Seventh Gallery will be having a sale of works to raise money for the gallery. The idea is that you come and have a look at all the works then you pay $40 dollars and you get a little sticker that you get to stick on a work that you wish to own. The sale is from 6pm to 8pm. I will have a couple of works there and I'm sure there will be many other beautiful works so come down and have a look.

Hanging with Steve

My friend Gráinne got me this cute little 'Where the Wild Things Are' figurine. I got Douglas who is getting acquainted with Steve at the moment. There are eight of them and they are a lucky dip so you don't know what your going to get which is kind of fun slash waste of money. Either way I'm hooked.

Time Well Spent

I've been getting a bit creative thanks to the immense amount of spare time I have now. Hope you enjoy the latest.

Drawers

I don't know what I'm going to do to them yet but whatever it is it's going to be great. On a different note, I saw Where the Wild Things Are last night. It was a beautiful and artistic film which inspired and moved me. It's definitely worth seeing, especially if you were a fan of the book.

One mans trash...

Sad to say, hard rubbish collection is over for this year. How lovely it was to see peoples trash exposed on their front lawns for all to see. I did enjoy all the narrow misses I had on the road because I was too busy looking at other peoples junk. I don't know what it is about hard rubbish, but I love it. Although the rubbish is gone, there is still a dead patch of grass from the chairs, scrap wood, mattresses, and numerous blue, shell shaped paddle pools (you all know the ones) that once were.

Peek

Heres a little look at some work that is from a series I'm working on at the moment which I will hopefully be able to exhibit soon. Most of the peices are done with led pencil and acrylic paint and I've also been experimenting with other meduims. I won't give too much away but stay tuned.
